Starforged Pledge and Preorder Update

Update: December 15, 2022
Shipping for the US and Canada is nearly complete. Backers and preorder customers should have received a tracking email already, or will receive one soon. Shipping time within the continental US is 5-7 business days, but please allow for holiday delays.
Update: December 9, 2022
Shipping for our US and Canada customers is now underway. Around 10% of parcels for backers and preorder customers are currently en route, and the fulfillment center will be ramping up their focus on Starforged next week. Fulfillment is still expected to be in progress through the month, but we'll update this page next week with the current status.

Update: November 30, 2022
US / Canada
Shipping for our US and Canada customers starts next week. More precisely, Wednesday, December 7th.
We'll need to allow 2-3 weeks for the fulfillment center to wrap up the bulk of shipping, as we have a large number of orders and it's a very busy time of year. Considering that we are in the midst of the holiday season, that will likely put some parcels hitting porches and mailboxes early in January, but I hope that the vast majority of you have your delivery in December. Tracking emails should start to go out late next week and continue through the month.

Elsewhere in the World
Shipping elsewhere in the world is nearly complete, aside from a handful of stragglers and delivery errors.

Outside of North America, fulfillment for pledges and preorders is about 95% complete, and should be fully wrapped in the coming days.
Shipping for the US and Canada is now slated to begin the first full week of December. We'll provide another update once shipping begins. Thanks for your patience!
Update: November 7, 2022
US / Canada
As reported in the last update, the fulfillment center is dealing with a backlog. Starforged shipping for US / Canada is slated to begin around November 15, but it may slip until later in the month. At this stage, US / Canada backers and preorder customers should expect deliveries late in November or early in December. Stay tuned for updates.
Asia
100% of parcels have shipped, though a few parcels may be working their way to local carriers.
Australia / New Zealand
100% of parcels have shipped. Most customers in Australia and New Zealand should have received their shipment. A few parcels may still be en route.
UK
Nearly all parcels have shipped, and the majority have been delivered. A few stragglers will be on their way over the next couple of weeks.
EU
Nearly all parcels have shipped. A small number are currently held for customs clearance, and should be on the way soon.
Rest of the World
All other regions are shipped, and most should be delivered (or will be soon).

US / Canada

Fulfillment is proceeding, and we've had additional reports of customers receiving their shipments. It may take another couple of weeks before everything is delivered.
Australia / New Zealand
100% of parcels are en route or have been delivered.
We have many reports of deliveries in Australia. Meanwhile, the parcels for New Zealand backers recently completed the hop across the Tasman Sea (I learned a new piece of geography by googling this).
We expect the bulk of deliveries in Australia to be completed in the next few days. Backers in New Zealand should have their rewards in the first two weeks of November, if not sooner.
UK / EU
In the EU, we have about 40% of parcels en route (or already delivered) and 60% being prepared for shipment. For the UK, 25% of parcels are packed and ready for carrier pickup; the rest are in line for packing.
If you are in the UK or EU and haven't received a shipment notification, don't worry. It is proceeding in batches, and the majority of shipments are still pending.
Rest of the World
Regions of the world not covered by other hubs are being dispatched from the UK fulfillment center via DHL Worldwide by Air. These parcels are now packed and shipping is underway. Deliveries, depending on your location, should be in a few business days.
Update: October 23, 2022
US / Canada
After a long and perilous journey, Starforged FINALLY reached the fulfillment hub in Maryland this week. I have reached out to our fulfillment partners for a timeline on packing and shipping, and expect to hear back soon. My hope is that we will start shipping as soon as next week, but I'll provide another update once I have full details.
Asia
Starforged fulfillment is still underway for our customers in Asia. Some customers will receive their rewards from local distribution hubs. You can check the status for transport to those hubs here: https://vfi.asia/hubs/ (scroll down to Ironsworn: Starforged).
Australia / New Zealand
Most rewards have shipped, and we have reports of customers in Australia receiving their shipments (yay!). Unfortunately, our Australian hub was shorted a few copies of the reference guide. We have shipped additional stock via air freight to the Australian hub, which will arrive in a few days. Our fulfillment partner in this region (Aetherworks) has been stellar about getting Starforged promptly packed and shipped, so I expect those remaining packages will go out next week. If you are in this region and haven't yet received a shipment notification, you are probably one of those who were affected. It'll be on the way soon!
UK / EU / Rest of World
Our fulfillment partner (GamesQuest) is working through the queue.
- EU: We have about 300 packages for EU customers en route, several hundred more waiting for carrier pickup, and around 150 waiting to be packed. Transit time is typically 5-10 working days.
- UK: Packing and shipping should begin next week. Transit time in the UK is only 2-3 working days, but we have a large number of customers so it will take some time for the folks at the warehouse to wrap this up. We'll let you know where things stand in our next update.
- Rest of World: Worldwide shipments for regions not covered by other hubs will also begin soon; shipping time will vary.

Starforged has landed and is being trucked to the fulfillment center. Fulfillment should be underway later this month, but we'll know more once our shipping company has the freight in hand.
Asia

Australia / New Zealand
Starforged has arrived at the fulfillment hub (Aetherworks), and packing/shipping has begun. Customers should receive their shipping notification and tracking info over the next two weeks.
UK / EU / Rest of World
Starforged arrived at the GamesQuest fulfillment hub. Packing and shipping will begin next week, and should be complete by the end of October.

Starforged has arrived at the fulfillment hub. We haven't received notifications of shipments yet, but we are hoping the products are on the way to customers very soon. I would expect deliveries this month, although we're waiting for a response from the shipper on status and timelines. More info when we have it.
UK / EU / Rest of World
Starforged arrived at the GamesQuest fulfillment hub and is being prepped for shipment. Once packed and shipped, delivery time to the UK will be 2-3 working days, and 5-10 working days elsewhere in Europe. Customers will receive a shipping notice and tracking number via email.

US / Canada
The container ship is still en route. Current estimated port date is September 29 (previously September 24), after which Starforged will be transported via truck or rail to Baltimore, and then to our fulfillment partner (Nord Fulfillment). At this stage, I expect that delivery will bleed into November for our customers in the US and Canada, though I am hopeful that we have a large percentage of packages delivered in late October. It all depends on a myriad of factors which are mostly out of our control. We will know more early next month.
Asia
Starforged has arrived at the Asia hub, and fulfillment should begin soon. I would expect this to be completed in October, although some customers may receive their rewards as early as this month.
Australia / New Zealand
The container ship arrived at port last week, and Starforged is expected at the fulfillment hub this coming Monday (September 26). Our fulfillment partner will need a couple of weeks to process and prepare the shipments, so our customers in AU / NZ should expect their packages to arrive in October.
UK / EU / Rest of World
The container ship arrived in the UK this week, about one week late, and Starforged is scheduled to reach our fulfillment partner next Wednesday (September 28). Processing and preparing the shipments will require 2-3 weeks, so customers in the UK and EU should expect delivery in mid-to-late October or early November. Customers elsewhere in the world (not fulfilled via other hubs) should probably plan on November.

As noted in our previous updates, Starforged production is complete and container ships are en route to the various worldwide hubs. Here's how things stand for the various regions.

US / Canada
Schedule has been pushed back by about a week. Now scheduled to arrive in New York on October 2nd, after which Starforged will be transported via truck or rail to Baltimore, and then to our fulfillment partner (Nord Fulfillment). We are presently looking at late October/Early November delivery for backers in the US and Canada. We'll know more once the products make landfall.
Asia
Fulfillment to customers in Asia should begin soon!
Australia / New Zealand
The container ship should be docked in Sydney in the next couple of days, after which Starforged will be transported to the fulfillment hub, and then prepared for delivery to our customers in Australia and New Zealand. Shipping should begin this month.
UK / EU / Rest of World
The container ship is now scheduled to arrive in Felixstowe UK September 19. Once processed, the Starforged cargo will be transported to our fulfillment partner (Gamesquest). Normally, this would mean delivery to customers is underway late this month or early next, but we'll need to be mindful of potential backlogs and delays due to a recent port strike. We will know more once it makes landfall.
Update: August 31, 2022
Starforged is now bound via container ship for the various worldwide fulfillment hubs. Things are largely inline with our estimates from the last update, but with a (hopefully) positive change for customers in Australia and New Zealand.
A very, very important note: Timelines are HIGHLY subject to change. We are in a phase where things are largely out of our hands and subject to the complexities and unpredictability of global shipping.
With that caveat out of the way, let's take a look at where things currently stand.
US / Canada
The container ship left port today. It is scheduled to arrive in New York September 24th, after which Starforged will be transported via truck or rail to Baltimore, and then to our fulfillment partner (Nord Fulfillment). If timelines hold, this would put North America customers on-schedule for October delivery.
Asia
Starforged is currently being transported to our Asia fulfillment hub. Our customers in Asia will likely be the first to receive their orders, starting in September.
Australia / New Zealand
Potential good news for our friends in the southern hemisphere. My paperwork currently shows that we are booked for passage leaving on September 1, and arriving in Sydney on September 15. If this holds, I would expect delivery to be underway in October, rather than the November/December timeframe we had noted previously. But I am reaching out to our fulfillment partner to confirm, and will follow-up in our next update.
UK / EU / Rest of World
The container ship left port August 24, and is en route. It is scheduled to arrive in Felixstowe UK September 13. Once processed, the Starforged cargo will be transported to our fulfillment partner (Gamesquest). Starforged production is completed, and the books and cards will be making their way to global hubs via ocean freight. From there, our fulfillment partners take over. Here are some preliminary timelines for each region. Please keep in mind that these timelines are subject to change, particularly in the UK/EU where a port worker strike will likely disrupt operations. We will keep this page updated as things proceed.

Important note: There is an 8-day port worker strike for Felixstowe (our destination port) scheduled to begin on August 21. We stand with the workers who are fighting for fair pay, and hope for the best outcome for them. The timeline below is based on current estimates and it's not possible to predict the snowball effect of the strike on maritime freight. We will keep this page updated as things proceed.
